Cleaning Your Top-load Washer

  My top-load washer is about 11 years old.  And it was getting kind of gross.  In full disclosure I'd never given it a good scrub-down.  But it was time.  So I went to the place that has answers for everything....Pinterest, of course.  I was led to THIS post by Jill on how to clean your top-load washer.  And I followed it.  Step-by-step.  It took about 4 hours considering the two wash cycles.  And now?  It's so shiny you need sunglasses.  I was nervous about all of the bleach, etc. so I did two loads of towels and a load of whites before throwing in my colors.  Everything was fine.
